During my recent city break at Hotel Lauri in the heart of Macerata, I was thoroughly impressed by the elegance embodied within its 17th-century walls. Our spacious top-floor room, adorned with wooden beams, was a delightful haven of tranquility, perfect for unwinding after exploring the vibrant local attractions. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, particularly the helpful Stephanie, who provided us with invaluable parking instructions, ensuring our arrival was smooth and stress-free. Breakfast, served in a lovely outdoor setting, offered a variety of choices that satisfied our morning appetites, albeit with no frills typical of more luxurious offerings. Ideally situated just 200 metres from the University and the Lauro Rossi Theatre, Hotel Lauri is a fantastic base for those eager to explore the stunning architecture and rich culture of Macerata. To top it off, the free WiFi and nearby private parking made it a seamless experience. I can confidently recommend Hotel Lauri to fellow historical novel enthusiasts and travel aficionados alike.
